"रक्क्षाबन्धन" - एक पवित्र भाई और बहन का रिस्ता।
का मतलब - "रक्षा" मतलब भाई को अपने बहन की रक्षा करना होता है। बहन हर रक्षा बंधन को अपने भाई की रक्षा के लिए उसकी पूजा करती है मतलब भगवान की पूजा करते हैं की हे भगवान मेरे भाई को और आपदा से बचाना हर दुख में उस का साथ देना उसको लंबी उमर देना और उसको मेरी भी उमर दे देना यह दुआ हर बहन अपने अपने भाई के लिए करती है। उसको हर सुख दुःख में अपना साथ देती है।
भाई का भी सबसे बड़ा कर्तव्य होता है की वो अपने बहन की रक्षा करे उसको कभी दुःख न दे।

Ask the sister's sister-in-law when she gets married and goes to her in-laws' house. The sister never forgets the relationship of being her sister, if the brother forgets it, but the sister must maintain her relationship in every way.
